A big welcome back to everyone for a new year – this time kamenatye from Alice Springs! We have got lots of new students starting in our brand new Languages and Linguistics unit whose languages include Rembarrnga, Nyikina, Yawuru and Arrernte. We are looking forward to having you mob in the CALL team! We are also really pleased to have a new Interpreting lecturer based in Alice Springs – welcome to Anthony Pilkington. We welcome Colleen Moekerken on board as a part-time lecturer working with OLW students in the Katherine region. And sadly for us, but good for him, Greg Dickson has said bobo and is off to ANU in Canberra to work on his PhD (more about Greg on the back page). Well, better not write too much more, we’ve got a lot to pack into this newsletter. Have fun, study hard!
